Vintage Ideal P90 14” Toni Doll Black Hair.
This is a little dark haired cutie I’ve had in my collection for a long time. Kinda hard to give her up, but I have to downsize.
Toni is my all time favorite vintage doll. And I love love love the dark haired ones. They say they are hard to find. So here’s your chance to snap up one of these little dolls. The smallest of all the Toni’s, she stands at 14”.
This girl is strung just perfectly, and can pose nicely. And look at those bright, clear eyes! Dark, thick lashes on top, painted below. A very expressive face. Nice color too. She has the tiniest dot below her right eye that was not apparent to me until picture time. It in no way detracts from her pretty face. It might buff off, but I will let her new momma do that.
Toni is a vintage hard plastic doll and it’s common for them to have rubs and marks especially around the jointed arms and legs. But our girl here is in very nice vintage condition and ready to be displayed. I would never sell you decades of dirt. No odors.
Toni has a nice wig. It’s sewn to be pulled up at the sides, like it is now. Only a little bit thin in back, but as you can see by her pictures, it doesn’t show. I just wanted to point that out. I’m listing her for a bit less than I would otherwise, because of that.
Toni is wearing a new, reproduction dress, made by a talented seamstress here on eBay. It has an attached slip and buttons in the back. What a little girl look and so much like what some of us wore as little girls.
She also has new saddle shoes and panties. Her rayon socks are vintage and in very nice condition. Those can be hard to find in such good shape, so we lucked out here.
All in all, a very nice dolly! Considering she’s close to 70 years old, I’d say she’s in amazing shape. Ideal sure made a nice doll didn’t they? It’s like they don’t age!
