The Veritas Tucker Vise is considered to be one of the finest vises ever produced. These are very rare to find, and are no longer produced.  You will not find a better pattern maker style vise!
Well take care of, and very close to new condition. There are a couple things to point out.
1. The under-bench mount has a corner missing (see pictures), due to it being in the way of a dog-hole on the bench it was mounted to (previous owner). It does not affect the integrity of the mount whatsoever, and I have replaced the mounting screws with new for a fresh install.
2. A small sliver of the cork liner is missing at the very top of rear jaw (see pictures).  It actually appears that the cork was just installed slightly off, as it sticks out an equal amount at the bottom (see picture 3). Also, the cork has some spotting, that was likely an oil, or lubricant when it was installed. Does not appear to transfer to wood.  Can easily be patched, or replaced.
I have pain-stakinly gone through the parts list, and insured all the parts are present and working. The quick release mechanism works flawlessly, and the elastic cord (that assists with this function) is in great shape.
The original manual is also included.  It is well packed in bubble wrap and rigid foam, and ready to ship.  It will be fully insured for purchase price.
The shipping is the "worse case" estimate, as in if I was shipping the farthest from my location.  If it is cheaper to ship to you than what is quoted, I will refund the difference.  I will always ship the least expensive method, with fully insured options.
