    Description

This is a unopened of Southwest Airlines Historical Cards. The first card displays the "Ticketless Has Landed"  wording with the old livery colored Southwest Logo. The back card, has the title, " Acquisitions of Muse Air and Morris Air Corp".  It states, June 25, 1985 and December 3, 1993. Our first merger was brokered in 1985 when we acquired Muse Air for .5 million in cash and stock. In 1986, Muse officially became TransStar. In what has been called "one of the smartest airline moves ever",Southwest acquired Morris Morris Corp. on the last day of 1993 for 3.6 million shares of common stock. The merger was sealed the following Valentines Day when "Southwest Spirit" and "Morris Magic" walked down the isle of the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. There is a year of 2000 also printed on the back bottom of the card. The cards were possibly published that year. ** It is unknown what the other Historical Cards have on them in the package as they are unopened. There appears to be approximately 12 cards per package. They come from a smoke free environment.
