NEW RO/DI Empty Refillable Water Filter Cartridge (Clear Tube/Blue Cap)

Description

New 2.5” x 9.75” refillable filter cartridge with inlet/outlet frits and outlet polypropylene sponge.  The housing is clear with a blue cap screw on cap, manufactured from virgin food grade polypropylene by injection molding, and is extremely durable and well made. We have evaluated a number of empty refillable filter cartridges and found this cartridge to provide the best performance. The cap makes a tight seal and does not leak, even under high pressure. Unlike a number of filter cartridges, this cartridge does not plug, even when using powders like calcite or alkamag. Excellent for use with a variety of  media, including powders, ion exchange resins, carbon, KDF, mineral stones, and more.
We use the cartridges for all of our custom filter cartridges. Media packs well in the cartridge, water flow is exceptional through the cartridge with minimal fines generation, and we have experienced no leaks or plugs, even with powder media. We particularly like the cartridge for mixed bed ion exchange resins with indicator dye. The barrel is extremely clear, allowing for full visibility to dye color change as the resin loads with contaminants.
