    00-112 Tap Class 2B 3 Flute Plug TiN (Titanium Nitride) Coating Made to American Miniature (to ANSI B18.6.3) Standards Shank 0.060" Made from Hardened High Speed Steel Designed for Production Tapping in Automatic Screw Machines, Tappers, CNC Lathes, and CNC mills. The TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating is very thin and smooth, increasing tap performance and tool life. In our shop TiN coated taps typically tapped three times the number of holes. Overall length of tap is 25mm (.984") threaded length (tip to end of thread) 9.5mm (0.380") with threaded portion a 8mm+ (.320"). Lengths can vary slightly between batches.
