    NEW replacement starter drive
    This is a 10 tooth Clockwise rotation drive with curved splines.
    Most of these early John Deere starters used a straight spline drive, but the replacement starters and armatures went to this curved spline design. You may need to physically look at the armature splines to know if they are straight or curved.
