Ideal Walker 19" doll Toni body Ruth face V92

19" walker doll by Ideal, this doll has the same body as Toni --as I understand it, Ideal used the same body for both dolls-- but this one has the Ruth face. Red hair, green eyes, soft plastic head and hard plastic body. The face is starting to get the "greasy" effect that vintage plastic sometimes gets as it ages (similar to the #5 Barbie "greasy face") but it's pretty easy to maintain if you just clean it occasionally. The sleep eyes sometimes stick a bit but they do still open and close. The right eye has a little "ding" in the surface of it, but it is hard to see. The hair is wild and is missing a few plugs but it isn't snarled, just needs a re-set to her curls. The walker mechanism works great, body is in good condition other than some scuffs, see pics. If you are looking to repair a Toni doll this body would be perfect to do a head swap, or you can fix her hair and keep her as is. She is wearing a cute handmade vintage dress and apron, looks like feedsack, dress has rickrack and plastic dome buttons on the back. Her rubber shoes may be original, they are marked Made in USA 16 on the soles.
