This item is broken.  It turns on, but when you try to blend something it makes a loud grinding noise and does not spin smoothly.
These commercial grade blenders are sold brand new for ,000.  If you find someone who knows how to fix it, or maybe you know how to fix it yourself, the part that needs to be replaced should not cost that much.  Blendtec is a great brand and one of the best.  I use these blenders everyday for years before they break, and when they do break I usually pay to get them fixed, however I am looking to sell some of my collection.
