    This is a nice pair of welded heavy duty  chains; One is 3/8 in. by 8 ft. long, with two "open" hooks. These are for tie-down applications. The other is 5/16 by 8 ft. long, with two 5/16 regular hooks.

    The rust is superficial only. There are NO cracked, broken, or stretched links. This chain is capable of bearing TONS of weight.

    The pins are in good condition.  The cottar pins are in good condition as well.  There are no "repair" links; just all welded chain.

    All in all, this is very serviceable chain.  You just have to decide whether this is the length you want.
