1952 Bombshell Blonde Bride & Brunette Groom Wedding Cake Topper w/Circular Floral Arch & Stand
The 1952 Coast Novelty Mfg. Co. in Venice, California, was known for creating charming cake toppers and figurines. This cake topper features a chalkware blond bride and darker haired groom. The exquisite painting captures every detail of their faces. On the back of the bride, you’ll find the inscription: “Copyrighted 1952 / Coast Novelty Mfg. Co.” Bride looks like the lovely Jean Harlow.  The flowers can be bent in different directions as they have a wire center.
In overall very good condition. Measures approximately 9.5 inches x 7 inches.  The item has some wear and tear. The groom may have had a flower on the lapel. He has some minor scuffs to the face.  The bride is in better condition with hardly any wear. The bride has a fragile net veil. The pieces are affixed and this is a single piece. The plastic stand has a small broken piece. The fabric flowers and bow have some minor age spots. Minimal overall paint loss.
